The Guidelines We Test Against
Our testing is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. Our seal indicates that we have tested your content against these criteria.
Perceivable
Information and UI components must be presentable in ways all users can perceive, including alternatives for non-text content.
Operable
Interface components and navigation must be operable by all users, including keyboard-only and assistive technology users.
Understandable
Information and operation of the UI must be understandable, with readable content and predictable functionality.
Robust
Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by assistive technologies and remain accessible as technologies evolve.
WCAG Conformance Levels
WCAG defines three levels of conformance. Level AA is the globally recognized standard and is required by most accessibility laws and regulations.
